Lent starts today.
I’m not religious, but I do like the idea of challenging myself to get rid of something I don’t need in my life or add something positive to it.
Last night I was talking about this and my dear hubby said chocolate. And then I’m pretty sure he and my 8 year old son said I couldn’t do it.
So, there you have it. No chocolate. 40 days.
Let’s see how many hours this lasts ;0)

Haha! A teacher at my school loves Pepsi, and one year her husband said she wouldn’t be able to give it up for a New Year’s Resolution. She went all of 2006 without a soda just to prove him wrong.

the first week is the hardest then the cravings pretty much go away - when you do want some have a piece of mint gum instead… it helps. Good Luck!
