Happy Healthy Heidi!

On 6/15/09 I went on a weight loss journey to find a happier and healthier Heidi. I found her and she's here to stay! Part 2 was running. This was conquered on 10/2/11 when I became a Marathoner. Now, part 3. I'm becoming a triathlete (swim, bike, run) and getting stronger. This is me, living life in the fast lane. Great outside run!

Longest since the marathon and held a pretty steady pace - even during a ridiculous hill and head winds for 1/2 the run.

6.67 miles, 1:09:42, 10:26 pace

The weather in Maine is ridiculously unseasonable for February. I’m not complaining.  This just means I was WAY overdressed for the conditions.  I took off one layer, but didn’t have anywhere to put my second layer if I shed that too and since I did one big loop there was no pit stop to drop things off at the vehicle.

I gotta say, I haven’t been this sweaty and stinky since the marathon.  It felt kinda nice =)

So far a productive two days.  All the cleaning, errands and miles are done.  We even threw in some fun by taking the kids to a snow tubing park.    Half the homework is done (and I learned yesterday that school is actually on break so there is no real rush to do the second half until next weekend).  YAY!

Now movies and a yummy steak dinner.

I wish we could have a family day tomorrow, but hubby is sick… and everyone knows how whiny boys are when they’re sick…
