Happy Healthy Heidi!

On 6/15/09 I went on a weight loss journey to find a happier and healthier Heidi. I found her and she's here to stay! Part 2 was running. This was conquered on 10/2/11 when I became a Marathoner. Now, part 3. I'm becoming a triathlete (swim, bike, run) and getting stronger. This is me, living life in the fast lane. I can’t believe it.

I’ve managed to keep up the “get mileage in everyday” challenge I’ve set for myself.  The day after surgery I walked my slowest mile ever at 19:38.  These last couple days I have had meetings and have been getting home between 9:30-10:00 and still managed to pull out some fast miles (9:22 and 9:14 respectively).

Tonight I’m looking forward to a much more casual, non-rushed, run with the C25K group.  It’s hard to believe we’re on W5D2 already!

Remember that dreaded Human Bio exam I was stressed about last week?!?  I got a 93.  Still confused as to how that happened, but not complaining! =)

On a fun note, hubby and I are now exploring options for our 10th anniversary getaway. It’s late October (forever away), but it gives us something to plan and look forward to.  October is a challenge because it’s hurricane season everywhere tropical I’d like to go.  Anyway, if anyone has any recommendations on places we should visit/research pass them along!

Happy Thursday!
