I can’t believe it.
I’ve managed to keep up the “get mileage in everyday” challenge I’ve set for myself. The day after surgery I walked my slowest mile ever at 19:38. These last couple days I have had meetings and have been getting home between 9:30-10:00 and still managed to pull out some fast miles (9:22 and 9:14 respectively).
Tonight I’m looking forward to a much more casual, non-rushed, run with the C25K group. It’s hard to believe we’re on W5D2 already!
Remember that dreaded Human Bio exam I was stressed about last week?!? I got a 93. Still confused as to how that happened, but not complaining! =)
On a fun note, hubby and I are now exploring options for our 10th anniversary getaway. It’s late October (forever away), but it gives us something to plan and look forward to. October is a challenge because it’s hurricane season everywhere tropical I’d like to go. Anyway, if anyone has any recommendations on places we should visit/research pass them along!
Happy Thursday!

Mendocino California or anywhere along the California Coast. Just go out and drive. It isn’t tropical, but it is so beautiful. Or Haiwaii.

Hurricane season would be for the Atlantic islands, why don’t you consider the Pacific?

Are you set on somewhere warm? Mr. B and I are considering a mountainside cabin in the Portland, Ore., area for a week in October. Hiking. Fishing. Hot tub. Lazing. And not too bad of a drive to Seattle. Plus, it’s gorgeous there! ~KimiJoy
