Happy Healthy Heidi!

On 6/15/09 I went on a weight loss journey to find a happier and healthier Heidi. I found her and she's here to stay! Part 2 was running. This was conquered on 10/2/11 when I became a Marathoner. Now, part 3. I'm becoming a triathlete (swim, bike, run) and getting stronger. This is me, living life in the fast lane. I’m still here.

Plugging along.

I’m feeling pretty recovered from surgery.  My follow up is Thursday when they’ll finally remove the tape covering the incision site.

Running has been good.  Never did my long run I wanted to do Sunday, but felt good about the 2.5 miles I did get in.  Definitely getting faster.  No issues with pain or rubbing on the scar/incision anymore.

Eating has been “okay”.

Work has been fine.

I was down 2.4 lbs on Sunday at weigh-in.  That’s about as exciting as it gets.

“No go” on Chicago.  It was a combination of things, but honestly… it kinda got put on the back burner and then registration filled up.  So, stress gone.  No longer an option.

Hopefully, instead, we’ll have a 10th anniversary getaway together that we’ll remember for the rest of our lives.

Until next time…
