Happy Healthy Heidi!

On 6/15/09 I went on a weight loss journey to find a happier and healthier Heidi. I found her and she's here to stay! Part 2 was running. This was conquered on 10/2/11 when I became a Marathoner. Now, part 3. I'm becoming a triathlete (swim, bike, run) and getting stronger. This is me, living life in the fast lane. Seriously guys….

$1,000+ to spend 4 nights in Chicago.

I can see if you’re splitting the cost with a roommate…. But we’d have our own room….

Ugh. Decisions. If I do this I’m pretty much guaranteeing no special 10-yr anniversary getaway.

I’m torn.

  1. veggielife said: Go for the 10th anvrsry getaway…it can be fun to get caught up in the group mentality of “Yay let’s all run a race together!” but you won’t be the only one to skip Chicago, and putting something else first doesn’t make you less a part of the group.
  2. mollierunsherbunsoff said: Do the 10 year trip instead. I’m sure Chicago would be a blast, but 10 years is an amazing accomplishment!
  3. shortmom said: Just stay 2 nights! Or don’t stay downtown — cheaper in the ‘burbs!
  4. regainingmymoxy said: Oh. That is tough. Especially because you wouldn’t be able to walk for half of it. BECAUSE OF THE MARATHON!! Whatever you guys decide to do - I’ll be happy for you.
  5. thereluctantrunner said: Chicago will always be there. I’d say go away for your anniversary. In my opinion anyway.
  6. tridad said: Make Chicago the 10 yr anniversary getaway. Plenty of romantic reatuatants.
  7. losingitall said: That’s a toughie, I admit I’d go for the marathon, but then again thats why I’d be no good in wedlock :)
