Happy Healthy Heidi!


On 6/15/09 I went on a weight loss journey to find a happier and healthier Heidi. I found her and she's here to stay! Part 2 was running. This was conquered on 10/2/11 when I became a Marathoner. Now, part 3. I'm becoming a triathlete (swim, bike, run) and getting stronger. This is me, living life in the fast lane. Well that’s over!

Human Bio exam is done.  I have no clue how I did.  The wording of the multiple choice questions and the answers were deceiving… I hate tests like that.  The essay and short answers were ridiculous.  Ah well.  Fingers are crossed for at least a C. 

I ran my mile.  Another 10:00 pace night.  32 in a row =)  

Overall today was pretty darn great.  Work is going well.  Things are falling into place.    I’m happy.

Oh… and I didn’t mention… Yesterday I registered hubby & I (along with two others) for a team in the Tough Mountain challenge in July.  A few days before that I officially got myself registered for the April 7th Airport Challenge at Race the Runways.  The airport challenge is if you register and run the 1 mile race and then the half marathon.  I’m all over it.  I’ll be registering for my first triathlon, The Norway Tri, in a couple weeks.  

An adventure race, half marathon and triathlon were all on my 2012 goals list.  I’m excited to be getting things in order to be able to cross them off.  Once registered I feel WAY more committed =)  

I also have a distance/tumblr meetup race on my list of goals.  I can’t make Chicago work, but I’m hoping there will be another at some point.  I’ll admit, though, that I’m very jealous for everyone that will be doing Chicago.

Anyway, now I veg out on the couch and enjoy “me time” for the rest of the night.  My big task is done.  I deserve it.
