Happy Healthy Heidi!

On 6/15/09 I went on a weight loss journey to find a happier and healthier Heidi. I found her and she's here to stay! Part 2 was running. This was conquered on 10/2/11 when I became a Marathoner. Now, part 3. I'm becoming a triathlete (swim, bike, run) and getting stronger. This is me, living life in the fast lane. Ask me anything

My life has been boring.

Busy.  Just nothing to post about.

I am still “recovering” from my surgery so I haven’t been able to get a really good run/workout in for almost a week.  Stitches are getting itchy so things are heading in the right direction.  I’m not complaining.  Just ready to vamp things up.  My body isn’t.

I have kept up with my “at least a mile” challenge.  Last night even pulled out a 10:00 mile.  But, stopped at that.

Tonight, running group does W5D2. I know I can get through it; I just have to hold my belly from “bouncing” so that my shirt doesn’t rub on the incision site.  It’s almost more tiring on the arm than it is the lungs/legs.  I’m still looking forward to it.

What I am NOT looking forward to is my first Human Biology exam right afterwards.  The first test with a professor is nerve wrecking enough… forget that the topic is just awful.  I am not a science person.  I’ve studied, but it’s one of those exams that you’ll never be ready for so you might-as-well get it over with.  As long as I pass the class that’s all that matters.  I need those 4 damn credits to graduate.

Guess I better get some work done.

Have a great Wednesday!  Halfway to the weekend =)
